GREGG P. SULLIVAN'S REVIEW

"Extraordinary!!! Every once in a while a film will come around that will tear your heart out, move you so deeply and wake you up so dramatically that you'll leave the screening knowing that not only have you just been given the honor of witnessing the power of art at its most penetrating but that you've been given a gift of higher consciousness that you'll want everyone you know to share in.  "The Right to Live" Written, Directed by and staring Michele Frantzeskos and Nancy Vazquez is a truly rare film that I strongly recommend each and every one of us go and experience.  It's a "Must See" for everyone from the film lover to the film maker.  Not just because it will move you as deeply as it did me and elevate your understanding of the world around you and compel you from complacency to conscious evolution and proactive participation in adjusting the very way we think and act towards each other but it is a beautiful, absolutely stunning example of what can be done with film and what can be achieved though heart felt, compassionate story telling.

The film bravely takes on the topic of "Abuse" in all its forms and by all its perpetrators.  This is a film with nobility of purpose and it boldly makes its mission statement "To Save Lives" openly clear right from the start and it relentlessly doesn't stop until it upgrades our level of understanding and carries us across the finish line of awakening and comprehension and brings us to a deeper compassion towards our fellow man.  It leaves you feeling a little less nieve and like you'll never be quite the same again and that all who see it will get to grow up a little bit more.  To what degree is determined by the open willingness of the witness, but no one leaves this movie untouched and without greater insight and awareness.

There are some really outstanding performances by some newcomers like up and coming Michael Voight whose raw energy and unbridled emotional dimension challenges you to not identify him as new James Dean.  Along with Aimee Alonzo, Ashley Cruz, Beth Katehis, the cast couldn't be more perfect without question, the performances by the writers, especially Michele Frantzeskos and Nancy Vazquez are so driven, so impassioned and so moving that I can't wait to see what they'll do next, though this movie will be one hard act to follow. Michele and Nancy, along with my admiration for this work is a loving wink and a big Thumbs UP!!!"-----------GREGG P. SULLIVAN
